Kate Roberts

Ms. Roberts received her Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Albany Law School of Union University in 2016, where she received the Dean’s Scholarship and served as the Online Journal Editor of the Government Law Review.  Ms. Roberts held internships at the New York State Attorney General’s Office in the Environmental Protection Bureau, Coughlin & Gerhart, LLP, and with the Honorable Kimberly O’Connor, Acting Supreme Court Justice of the 3rd District.  While in law school, Ms. Roberts also served as the Student Editor for the New York Environmental Lawyer, a publication of the New York State Bar Association’s Environmental Law Section.

Ms. Roberts also participated in the Pro Bono Scholar’s Program.  This New York State program allowed her to take the bar examination in February of her final year of law school, and then perform over 250 hours of pro bono work with the Legal Aid Society of Northeastern New York.

Prior to law school, Ms. Roberts received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, magna cum laude, from Iona College in 2013.
