Z&S secured approvals from the Village of New Hempstead Board of Trustees in connection with a proposed Seasons Express convenience store, a 100% kosher convenience store and an affiliate to the national Seasons grocery store chain. In October 2022, the Village Board of Trustees granted Seasons Express’s application for a special use permit to allow for additional hours of operation outside of those permitted by Village Code. The store will be located at the corner of County Route 306 and Grandview Avenue in Monsey. This will be Seasons Express’s third location nationwide and its first New York location outside of Nassau County.
Daniel Richmond and Brian Sinsabaugh served as the project team’s attorneys over the last six months. Prior to obtaining approval, the Village Board of Trustees declared itself lead agency for the project and issued a SEQRA negative declaration.
